I am looking at buying an interior out of a totaled tahoe. It is leather and my ls is cloth. Here is the question. If the leather seats have the electric rear seats how hard is it going to be to install them and make them functional in my ls.

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. The switches for the rear seat heaters reside in the back of the console along with the controls for the rear HVAC. I suspect (don't know) that since the heaters probably use a fair amount of current, that there may be a relay involved to actually switch the voltage to the heaters. Does your LS have a control panel on the back of the console? But wait, I'm not sure the LS has a center console.

May be a little harder than I thought.

But doable.

LS has no center console. The original center seat has one plug for power. Not sure where you'd tie into for the power for your rear seats in an LS.

If you're getting the seats just for the leather, check around for a local shop to replace your cloth seats. I had mine replaced for $995 by a shop my local dealer uses. You cannot tell they did not come from the factory.
