My wife has got an 05 Trailblazer, and the mpg on it sucks! We had an 03 that got around 17 mpg in town, then we traded for an 05 that gets around 14 in town. Can someone tell me why that is? It is the same set-up as the 03, it's crazy! Also will an exhaust system make the mpg some better? If it does can you tell me what kind of exhaust, because my wife will not put up with anything loud. Thank you!!!

My 2002 got about 14 in town and 20 on the road. All the exhausts, CAI, chips, etc won't buy you much mpg or hp. They will separate you from a goodly sum of your cash.
