Hello all. I'm new to this site. Looks like a great resource. My boss has a 2000 Z-24 he's trying to get rid of. Has 185K on it. He thinks it had a new motor at 150K. It's been sitting for about a month getting buried under snow. I dug a path to it today and it started right up. Low coolant light is on. Suuposedly had a new water pump just before it was parked. Power steering fluid about gone, but not leaking up top. It belonged to his trouble making teenaged nephew who had to go away for awhile, so I'm sure it wasn't the best cared for. Body is good, but one headlight is smashed, and the hood is a little wavy from a deer. His family says they've got a $1000 in it but understand they probably won't get back. Are there any notorious trouble spots to look for on this? I'm thinking a few hundred bucks is all I'd give for it.

It does have alot of miles on it but it is a 2000 z24, and if the motor was replaced then it may not be in too bad of condition, I would say 1000 dollars is about right, possibly more.
