Hello all. I just bought a 2007 Tahoe LTZ and it has the factory navigation with dvd plus roof mounted dvd. I did not receive the manual for the touch nav or roof dvd. My question is if I am playing a dvd and turn off the engine to go into store etc. on starting back up the dvd resumes play on the touch screen but not up top. Even once its in gear and the message displays cant view while driving or whatever it says. I can hear the audio but the video up top is not playing. Can anyone help me out on this? I am sure its probably something simple but I'm a post superduty owner so its new to me. Also is there a user manual pdf file for the Nav/Dvd somewhere?

Thx,
Shane

Push the red power button on the remote.

Oh..I guess I didn't get the remote too. Is there another function on the touch screen or will I just need to find and purchase a remote?

Thanks,
Shane

You'll have to get the remote or eject and replace the DVD each time.

I've got an 07 LT3 with a drop down as well and experience the same issue.  In my case, I don't have the nav and am not familiar enough with the nav system to know it's features, but all I have to do is push the play/pause button on the radio display and it will resume playing.

Thanks for your replies. I visited the stealership today and was amazed that for 35.00 I now have a remote that is almost bigger than my harmony home remote. lol... The dvd's now resume upon pressing the red button. Again thanks for your help.

The remote is large so the buttons could be spread out aiding in easy operation and also to prevent it from getting lost forever between a seat cusion..

Check online for a replacement fob as I found they're cheaper that dealer.  Also tell you how to synch with your truck.
