Go buy a Haynes repair manual 99-05 silverado & sierra, totally worth the money, shows how to fix almost anything on your truck. Any auto parts store should carry them, and I highly recommend them for any body

I got my Hanes on CD-Rom.  Looking at the washer motor (which appears to be the same for every year), it looks fairly straight-forward.  I'm looking at getting a Trico washer pump for my truck...

I orginally looked mine up on cskauto.com, autozone.com and napaonline.com to see what the part looks like and how much it'll cost and what the part looks like to see how easy or difficult it'll be to replace.  For me, it's just a matter of reaching it... (I'm a bit short, so reaching toward the center rear of the engine well is a little difficult for me... lol)

*Correction*

The Washer pump is located on the Washer fluid well and not towards the rear of the engine well.  After consulting the holy book of Haynes, I found where it was located and appears to be fairly easy to replace.  What I now believe is located at the center rear of the engine well is a wiper motor.
