I am located in McKinney, Texas, which is thirty miles north of downtown Dallas. My dad lives in Nebraska, and has asked that I try to locate a buyer in North Texas for his '95 Chevy 1500 standard cab, longbed pickup. It has only 34,000 miles, five liter engine, automatic tranny, two-wheel drive, sliding rear window, bed liner and a few other options. It is black with a gray cloth interior. My dad is the original owner; the title indicates that the pickup had 36 miles on it when he bought it. He reports that everything works, except that one of the two remotes is temperamental and only works on a part-time basis. I drove the pickup for five hours this weekend, and I was surprised by the smooth ride. The only problem that I see is that the interior smells rather smoky. From looking at the ashtray and the lack of nicotine stains on the interior, my guess is that he didn't smoke while driving, but smoked while sitting in it with the door open. Hopefully a fragrance-filled detailing will help. Here are some pics. If anyone knows anyone who might be interested, let me know. I am hoping that a nice survivor like this can find a good home, and avoid ending up being trashed while doing contractor duties. My dad needs $6000 for it. For some reason, the photobucket images are not showing up here, so following are links to the photos. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h120/edensker/DSC01092.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h120/edensker/DSC01089.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h120/edensker/DSC01093.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h120/edensker/DSC01090.jpg http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h120/edensker/DSC01091.jpg
