I have an 83 k5 silverado and i was wondering what is the largest tires I can put on with out cutting into the wheel well. also with a 10 bolt or a 12 bolt rear.

Depends on what you are using the k5 for. Street only, or offroad. I first had a 77 with 35 bfg mts with no lift. They would rub the fenders a bit offroad but I didnt care. A safe all around tire might be 33 bfg ats. Post up a lil more info on what you use the k5 for.

it also depends on the size lift you have, if you have one. the newer model K5's have smaller wheel wells, not allowing the oversized tires without a lift. stock k5's came with 33's if they were the 4x4 cheyenne edition.
