ORIGINAL: zetakappa700 2000 GMC Jimmy SLT 4.3L V6 Most importantly, the horn on my Jimmy has stopped working. I checked the fuses and they appear to be in good shape. I plan to borrow a current tester to check for power at the plug...Any other ideas? Secondly, the driver side window works very speratically. Normally only when its about 50 degs. I have replaced the control pannel but the problem continues. Could this be a worn out window motor? Lastly, the fuel gauge on my jimmy is only correct when the tank is full. It drops as I use up the gas in the tank and at about the last 1/4 tank the gauge jumps to full. Could this be a faulty sensor in the fuel pump? There is a horn relay under the hood. Check that too! Definately a sign that the door motor going bad. Thats a common problem... You can't replace the sensor itself. You have to replace the whole fuel pump. Usually after a sending unit and fuel pump, the problem will be fixed.
