I have a new 07 suburban with light gray/titanium leather. I would like to swap the 2nd row bench for buckets. I live in DFW area but shipping costs from elsewhere should not be a problem. Thx.

Update: I bought Tahoe captains off e-bay. I ordered Suburban floor plates since they are flat while the Tahoe's are raised. Will let you know how it goes. I still have the titanium 60/40 bench for sale.

Heres the scoop so far. From the orginal bench seat, the "40" side, you must take off the floor plate(riser), bolt-on floor latches, and all of the plastic pieces. Swap them all out for the ones on the Tahoe seat. The floor latches are much taller on the Burb.
The left side of "40" is flat while the left side of the new seat is bulged out, this plastic needs to be ordered. So, basically you can take the "40" from the Burb and canabalize it for the Tahoe captains seat. All you have to do is order the left side plastic behind the hinge and the outer plastic that wraps the seat.
Now, the drivers side is a different story. You can not use anything off the "60" bench. I ordered the Burb riser floor plate, floor latches and all of the plastic. If all goes well it will cost me roughly $260 worth of parts to turn the Tahoe seats into Burbs seats, this is dealer price on parts, minus the price of the seats themselves. I'll post again when done. FYI: The riser is $100, the latches are $44 each.

Last Update, the swap turned out perfect. To take Tahoe captains seats and install them in a Suburban you can swap the floor plate riser from the "40" bench for the passenger side captain, you can also reuse the floor latches, but all the plastic must be replaced for Surburban plastic. This is because the screw holes and snap seams on the old plastic do not line up.
Regarding the driver side captain, you must purchase a new floor plate riser, new latches, and all new plastic.
It all went together well and looks like it was installed at the factory.
I re-used the fake floor that covers the plates, it came with the 60/40. You have to cut a hole for the second drivers side latch and the  passenger side leaves a little metal exposed, I will hot glue some light grey fabric to the underside to cover it up. A new fake floor panel just for these small exposed areas is not worth $270.
All in all I spent $260 for the new plate, plastic and driver side floor latches.
