i have a 1989 9c1
i picked it up with a blown out rear end
the motor has about 5k since rebuild
dented hood
chipped up steering collum
busted windshield

in the last week i have had a new rearend installed(which my mechanic will learn tomorrow that he didnt put in any fluid and now it needs new gears already after aboout 5 miles i heard grinding he already closed his doors for the weekend)\

i went to the junkyard and pulled a hood off of a wagon turned out to be fiberglass ..alot lighter than the hood that was on it . either way i managed to get it mounted on my own

i also managed to pull a uncracked windshield and install it in my car . water tight suprisingly

put in a whole collum from the junk yard also

im still trying to hook up the new tach and cant find the right wire to clip onto i was told i would need to use a scotch clip
i have a autometer 5 inch tach
got the power working red wire
got the ground hooked up black wire
but the green wire cant figure it out i looked at the coil but saw no negative hook up the to the cap off and heard there would be two screws one that says batt and one that says battery but there are two screws one says tc and the other has something like brge any ideas
this is on a chevy 350 1989 l05
thanks in advance

save yourself a headache down the road....remove the scotch clips and solder and tape connections!
