Hi everyone im new here I came here to ask you cavalier enthusiasts a question I know a guy with a cavalier (fairly new) it has had some modification im not sure what but anyway he says its got a 2.4 motor with 600hp!!! is there any possible way to get that out of a 2.4 motor

ya its possible.....some guys in Vancouver are racing their ecotechs to the tune of 900+hp.....the S/C cobalts will go over 900 with GM bolt on parts....he would need some kind of big turbo and would need new heads, as well of a ton of other parts, just pop the hood should not be hard to tell, or go for a ride, with 600hp it should pull like a vette....if you can get it to hook up.....getting a 2.4 to 600 HP would require some significant dollars......
