Hi there. I just agreed to purchase an '07 2LT with 13,000 miles on it from a local dealer who picked it up from an auction. It was a GM service rental that was originally put into service in May of 07, but it's in great shape. I got it for $28K plus tax and fees so I think I did OK on the deal. Before I write the check, I thought I'd see if there are issues with the 07 model year that owners wish they had known about. I would also like to find a replacement system for the OEM DVD/CD player. I'd like to find a CD/DVD/Navigation system that utilizes the steering wheel controls and has both blue-tooth and XM as part of the unit. It must also integrate with the drop down screen that comes with the car. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for the info....

I have an 07 Burb and the wife has an 07 Hoe. Both are great vehicles. The only problem I had with both of them was the window trim on the rear windows but dealership will fix that. Besides that the burb is awesome.. As for you radio, check ebay and you can get one cheap on there or gmpartsdirect. Sounds like a fair price just be sure to check the carfax report....Enjoy your new ride...

Whats the trim level. $28k is a decent deal on an LS but it's an amazing deal on an LT3 or LTZ which MSRP for $40K-$50k. MSRP on a brand new 2007 LS is around $36k and they have $3750 to $4750 in rebates so it's possibel to get a new 07 with 10mile for $31-32k. Sorry just read the 2LT part. Sound like a sweet deal

Find somoene who knows what they are doing and have experience doing this particular job. Steering wheel contorls are easy to integrate with almost any aftermarket nav. You will also need a module to retain the chimes, OnStar, factory back-up sensors and the retain accessory power. If you must have XM, then i would go with a pioneer D3. Its double din, has the option the add bluetooth, XM, sirius, ipod adaptors & back-up camera. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/Navigation/In-Dash/AVIC-D3 There is a video out on thoes units, you would just have to find someone competant enough to integrate it with the factory screens.
