all the impala's from 1965-1970 have the same basic front end, some of the 1969 and 70 came with front disc, 1967 and 68 were only on 427 cars, if you could find a 1970 impala, bel-air, or caprice in the wreeking yard it would most likly have disc brakes.

Not to be a prude, but I have to dissagree with Statt409 about the 67 & 68 disk brakes only on 427 cars. I've had two, first a 68 Impala Custom with 396 auto, I bought it from the original owner & I know he didn't alter it. The other a 68 Caprice wagon with 396. Heres the weird part ----- the wagon had a factory 4 speed ---- yes really! And no it was not converted, I checked. However you would not want to use the 67-68 disk brakes since they are 4 piston calipers & were problumatic, for me anyway.
