Howdy,

I just got my new Cobalt last week and I'm loving it so far- no complaints at all!  She's a 2008 Imperial Blue LT coupe.

Looking at my windshield today, I noticed that the rubber seal or gasket is just sitting on the base of the windshield.  I lifted it up at one corner and could see the bottom of the glass.  I haven't compared mine with any other Cobalts yet but my first impression is that there should be some silicone or other adhesive down there, keeping everything tight and water proof.

Is my windshield defective, or do you guys see the same thing on your Cobalts?

Thanks!

Not many cobalt owners come to this site.  Check out cobaltss.net, cobaltss.com, or yourcobalt.com.

The rubber flap you lifted is part of a larger seal it -- it's normal -- it won't fly off if that is what you're concerned about.

Thanks!

The other day, I stopped by my dealer.  They said the same thing and showed me another Cobalt to confirm it.
