Cleaning engine block after head gasket failure - 1/4/2008 8:41:03 AM    Stirgen   Posts: 15 Joined: 11/23/2007 Status: offline Anybody have any suggestions on cleaning the inside of the block after a head gasket failure.  Ive got emulsified oil like everywhere inside the engine, its like mayoonaisse.  I am worried that just leaving this garbage in there is going to cause some problems after I put everything back together. Would an immediate engine flush be recommended after reassembly.? Post #: 1
