One of my children tried unsuccessfully to roll down my window when it had some ice on it and about a mile and a half down the road, the window dropped to the bottom of the door (without breaking-Praise the Lord). I have been able to get one of the rollers that fits in a track on the door panel back in place, however, the other rollers do not hold the window in place. The rollers seem to be bent somehow; probably due to the stress put on it by trying to roll it down.
My question is: Are the rollers that move the window up and down supposed to fit into something or are they just supposed to have the window rest on top of them? It seems like just resting on the rollers, the window would be prone to slipping and dropping down again.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Tommy C.
