Ok here here we go. I went on a trip and pulled into a gas station turned my lights off. I got back in the car and turned the lights on, and the lights come on but the instrument lights dont. But the ABS light that was already on does. So i try and change the fuse and its not blown. So now i am like WTF must be a short somewhere else in the system any help will be much appreciated.

Ok, here is a dumb question and I mean no offense by it: did you check your dimmer switch? I have seen it happen that the dial gets bumped unknowingly and turns off the dash lights (just a couple weeks ago!). If the switch is not manualy turned off, that is still a place to begin testing. That switch can fail and not send voltage to the lights at all.
