2007 Chev Suburban The keyless entry will not work once the vehicle has sat idle for more than thirty seconds. The vehicle will only respond to the remotes if the door is unlocked with the key, the ignition is turned on, or right after the vehicle is shut down. After doing any of those three things, the remotes become inoperable again after thirty seconds. Can someone help me with this...it is driving me nuts!

I have the exact same problem. It occured immediately after having the oil changed at the dealership. It does the same thing with both remotes. I have a suspicion that it might have something to do with the dealership resetting the oil life indicator, or maybe they applied some type of ECM update while it was in. Just speculating, I have not contacted them yet about it.

Sometimes the dealer will apply programming updates that can result in the RKE problems that you have. To resolve this concern, Remove the (10 amp) DSM fuse for 20 seconds and then reinstall and recheck for the condition, the DSM fuse is located on the driver side of the instrument panel, you will have to open the driver's door and pop the plastic panel off to access the fuse block.
