Hey guys, I am totally stupid when it comes to mechanic stuff. I would say I know the average stuff. I am planning to buy a 1995 GMC silverado regular cab long box 4x4 in really good shape inside and out for $2000. Awsome big tires on it. Truck has 205,000 kilometer (122,000 miles). The guy seems to be honest. What he told me was that he went four by fouring and he went up a really steep hill then the Transfer Case broke cuz he drove it a little harder then usual. Says that he got an estimate from a place and it was going to cost about $1900 to fix. Is that really exspensive to fix? Is this truck even worth it? If so, what Should I look at before I buy it? I assume the engine should still start. I only got a brief look at it but will look at it tommorow in full details. Let me know guys, thanks in advance.
