Does anyone know how to override the DVD/Navigation system on the 2007 Tahoe? In other words I want to be able to watch a DVD while driving on the front navigation system. Currently as soon as you shift the automobile into drive the system cuts off the DVD and displays a warning message.

I was in hopes of finding a wiring diagram that might show me where the override is and I could possibly turn this "feature" off.

Any help is appreciated

There is an on screen sequence of button pushing that will bring you to a diagnostic configuration screen that has an overide menu choice that will let you override it. I know the one for my Toyota Sienna, which is obviously the same system as the GM Nav. Someone out there knows the sequence. SHARE IT !!!!

On the Sienna, go to the volume menu, then touch the left top of the screen (no button is visible, but it is there), then touch the bottom left corner and the diagnostic menu appears. Then you HOLD your finger on the override selection until it beeps. Then back out of the menu, and everything will work until you shut off and restart the car.

There has to be a similar back door for the Chevy. If/when I figure it out, I'll post it.
