I HAVE A 2007 3/4 SUBURBAN WITH THE NAV/XM RADIO WITH THE BOSE SPEAKERS.  THE SYTEM SEEMS TO WORK GREAT BUT I HAVE ONE ISSUE.  I CAN HAVE THE WINDOWS UP AND WHEN LISTENING TO XM, I AM ABLE TO TURN THE VOLUME ALL THE WAY UP AND STILL HOLD A NORMAL CONVERSATION.  I ALSO AM LOOKING TO GET A LITTLE MORE BASE SOUND BUT DO NOT WANT TO TRASH THE INSIDE OF MY SUBURBAN WITH BOXES.

WHAT CAN I DO TO ADD BASE AND VOLUME TO THIS SYSTEM WHICH WILL BE CLEAN AND HIDDEN????

There is an updated software calibration that will fix this problem.
Have your dealer reference GM Document ID #1782701 if they aren't up to speed on the fix.
This proceedure is fully covered under your new car warranty and should take less then 20 minutes to complete.

I have a question for you ZX1100F1. I added the Nav to my 07 Tahoe back in Feb. I noticed that I don't have as much bass as I used to with the single cd unit with bose. Would the dealer charge me to update the software on my NAV unit?

I just took my suburban to the dealer and had them check my unit and update it.  It was very simple to do.  They did not charge me because it was under warranty.  It had all the updates loaded but the mechanic said it had everything but the amplifier!!!  Does this mean there is an after market amplifier I may be able to get???  Thanks for any help you may provide.

rruelas,
The dealer most likely will not charge you if you don't tell them that you installed the Nav unit, but it is likely that your Tahoe was already programmed with the update if you had the dealer program your new nav to the truck.

2007SUBURBAN,
I am not sure exaclty what you are asking, but what it sounds like is that the dealer told you that you already had all the latest updates loaded except one for the amplifier???
Does it get any louder now?
