What is an Avatar?
An Avatar is the little picture below your screenname on the left of your post. It represents you! Most people will choose a generic avatar from the list of avatars, but you can upload an avatar of your own with a picture you have taken.
How do I get an Avatar?
Generic Avatars
Go to "My Profile".

To choose a generic avatar, click "click to choose avatars"

A new window will pop up.

Choose the avatar you like.
A pop-up window will come up and ask "Choose 8ball.gif?". Click yes. You will be taken back to the "My Profile" page.
Go to the bottom of the page and click "OK" or "Apply" to accept the changes.

Now you are done. You have a generic avatar.
Custom Avatars
To make an avatar all your own, go to "My Profile".

Click on the dot next to "Upload My Picture (will replace existing one)".
Then click "Upload My Picture (will replace existing one)"

An upload screen will appear.

Choose the image you like. Image must be at most 20kb and 145 x 145 pixels and can only be a .jpg or .gif image. To resize images, you can go to www.resize2mail.com
Your screen should look like this:

Now you should see:

You have succesfully uploaded your own avatar.
Exit the upload window, go to the bottom of the screen and click "OK" or "Apply"
