Did you resolve the problem with your 84 silverado? I have an 85 K20 Suburban with similar problem. I accidently arched the solenoid and since then, I have no ignition, no "click" from starter, no power windows or radio. I do have headlights and dome lights. I pulled harness from starter and can find no visible damage to wires or fusible links from starter. Also, can find no visible damage to fusable links from junction on firewall. Cannot find any blown fuses in fuseblock under dash. I have continuity from starter wires to connector at firewall (behind fuse block). I also pulled starter/solenoid and had tested at both Kragen and Autozone. Both tested good. If fusible link bad would it be visually obvious? Are there any fuses other than at the fuse block? If the ignition switch is bad, as suggested by jcbst12, is there a way to determine this without replacing switch? Thanks, Shaun
