2000 Silverado Instrument panel bulbs - 12/17/2007 4:24:47 PM    slbarnesjr   Posts: 6 Joined: 7/17/2007 Status: offline Anyone have any advise on replacing blown instrument panel lights and lights on factory radio? I'm wondering how difficult this is. I have done lots of older models but never the newer models. Thanks Post #: 1

The radio will need to be removed and then its faceplate, you will then need to unsolder the bulbs and replace them with similar types. (in reply to slbarnesjr) Post #: 2

RE: 2000 Silverado Instrument panel bulbs - 12/17/2007 7:26:05 PM    RonH   Posts: 419 Joined: 1/31/2007 Status: offline You can buy the replacement bulbs for the radio on eBay.  One seller that I have seen is corvetteradioscom.  If you don't want to solder in the replacement bulbs yourself, you can also send the radio off and have the bulbs replaced with this seller: replacementradios.  I am sure there are others, but these are two that I have seen.
