If I add an Air Intake does that make the truck sound any different? Also any suggestions on which one I should add and about how much I should look to spend?

As long as the CAI you pick still uses a housing around the filter similar to the stock one, it shouldn't be noticeably louder IMO. I was pleasantly surprised at how loud the stock system is at WOT.

WOT (Wide Open Throttle). I have a 2004 Tahoe with an AEM Brute Force CAI (Cold Air Intake). It sounds very nice. Not obtrusive until you really get on it, but still has a pleasant note to it. I recall I paid 329 for mine and it utilizes a surround just like stock. Also looks really nice.
