Hey guys its been a while since I've signed in but I am goin to be doing a few things to my 07 Black LT for christmas and I wanted to know what you guys think. I have a chrome billet grill on right now that I am thinking of getting air brushed black. I saw someone on here a long time ago post a picture of his tahoe with an airbrushed black billet grill and matching black emblems and it looked bad ass. In addition, I think I am going to get chrome door handles and chrome mirror covers and was wondering if any of you had any good recommendations of where I should order these from. I want quality pieces at a reasonable price and have seen some on ebay for around 50 dollars but I dont know much about the quality. I am also going to get the bowties painted black by a body shop. How much should I expect to pay to get the bowties and grill painted black and what do you guys think about these additions? Your opinions and advice are appreciated thanks guys. Todd

you could always paint your bowties, and your grille yourself using dupli color. But I think you can get thr OEM chrome handles on ebay pretty cheap. If not I would try something along the lines of gmpartsdirect.com.

I agree with GM, painting your bowties is a piece of cake. Save yourself some money and do that yourself. I personally don't like the look of the chrome on the mirrors, but to each his own. I bought the "chrome" putco handles, they are just abs plastic with 3M tape on the back that goes over the factory color matched handles. I would have preferred the factory chrome handles, but when I first bought the Tahoe I was in no mood to take off the door panels to do it. Either way, good luck, and post some pics.

Personally I think that if you are going for the black look on grill and bowtie, don't put chrome on the mirrors or handles. Keep it black. I have a friend that went all black including the grill and bowtie and it looks awesome. He also lowered it and put 22's looks clean. I would not do that to mine since I already have chrome wheels. I do however would like a billet bowtie in the front and back.

yhea, i did that whole stealth look about a year ago. painted the emblems, painted the chrome ring around the grill, smoked the tailights, blacked out the front markers. oh, also droped it and put on all black 22s. so like thay said if you are going to go with the all black look, do not put chrome door handles, it will look a lot better with out it.
