I really need an honest mechanic's opionion. The problem began when I had my hazard switch replaced due to the flasher unit failing, causing turn signal & hazard lights to stay on solid. This was replaced fine, but the dash trim was not properly reinstalled in between my radio and dual climate control. I returned to the dealership to have this redone probably and the server department MANAGER proceeded to hit my trim and try to get it to pop in to place when it was obvious the dash needed to be removed and just reseated correctly (As a service guy did after the dept manager was finished beating the crap out of it for no reason) Now, I have LED lights failing in both my radio and climate control devices. Note that NONE of the lights were out prior to the service dept manager beating on my trime. Now, GM and the dealer tells me there is no way they caused the lights to start going out and I think they are full of sh** since the lights are failing right around the trim that he hit. I believe there is a possibility that they did in deed break the LED's off. Now they want to charge me over 200 bucks to have both items replaced... My question is, is it possible that the dealership was the cause of the LED's to start going out??? I work on computers and I know you can break an LED off, it's only saudered on...Help!!!!!
