Door panel is off, the motor is dead (second one in a year but under warranty last time) but the motor just doesn't want to come out...any secret trick here?

I don't know if this willl help, but when the mechanic replaced ours it fell out because they used the wrong size pop-rivots. I'm guessing you will ave to drill out the existing rivots to pull the motor.
