I've rebuilt my 4L60e. in my 1997 Suburban 2wd gas I've done several other transmissions, (2004r, 700r4, turbo 350) but this is my first 'e'. I have a very good video from TechnicalVideo, plus the ATSG guide the FSM and the TURM (Trasmission Unit Repair Manual) for the '96 4l60e which is, i believe functionally identical. I air tested all the clutch packs as well as the 2/4 band. On the first test drive it flairs out of 2nd into basically no gear at all. I had a 'used tested' valve body on, so I swapped for another valve body that I know worked when removed. Same symptoms. I did blow a fuse that controls the tach/speedo and apparently shifting. I replaced that but still have only reverse/first/second. I saw on a post elsewhere that the MAF and O2 sensors are on the same fuse as the transmission. I did have a warning (SES) for both of those, but I don't find any blown fuses anywhere (beyond the tach/speedo fuse). I'm stumped. Ideas? Franklin Keller, TX
