hi guys, my turn signals, right and left, just stopped working recently. i've eliminated the easy stuff...i think my problem is the turn signal switch-mechinism in the steering column. i've removed the steering wheel, but my problem is trying to get to the actual turn signal mechinism in the column. i've got the slotted disc that locks the steering wheel in my way. any suggestions as to how to remove that thing? i'm running out of ideas...i don't want to destroy the steering column to get to the thing! thanks for looking, as well as your input. brandon aka: hc130radio

I'm not 100% sure, but i believe you have to push the slotted disc down and there is a little wire c clip that retains the disc... if i remember right it ain't too easy to push it down alone and get the clip off at the same time so have a friend handy... it's been over 15 years since I've done one so my memory might have faded a little on the subject

Thanks for the info. That helps out a lot. Getting dark here, so I'll check it out tomorrow after work! Once again, thanks!
