1996 TAHOE RADIO/CD PLAYER QUESTION - 12/5/2007 12:52:05 PM    wwotr Posts: 102 Joined: 1/15/2007 Status: offline I've got a 96 Tahoe with the Stock AM/FM Radio and seperate CD Player below. Is there any type of a "Swap" (like in the Pontiac Trans Ams) that the stock Tahoe Radio can be swapped out for ANOTHER STOCK GM unit that has the 7 Band EQ built in it? Don't want to go aftermarket, but would like to be able to EQ the Radio/CD's to compensate for some hearing loss. I don't want to get into alot (well ANY) rewiring ect. I'm gonna have to do some more research as I want to be POSITIVE this will work. The only OEM playes that will work in the 95 to 2002 Tahoe are the units listed below: CD Haad unit GM Part # 16255455 Tape Head Unit GM Part # 16180015 CD Remote "Slave" Unit GM Part # 16231055 Tape Remote "Slave" Unit GM Part # 16252315 (in reply to wwotr) Post #: 4

Do you work in a Dealershhip? My original post said I had an AM/FM Radio.
