Hello I am from the Cariboo up in British Columbia. Anybody else from that area on this site? I live about 20 minutes north east of 100 mile house out on forest service road. I have been 4x4ing since I was little. My dad raced a 1969 bronco but retired from that in the 1970s. I initially found this site because I was researching a problem. So I thought I would join up since other sites I have joined up you are not Chevy specific. Anyways my Daily Drivers are a 2003 3/4 ton Silverado Crew Cab LT 4x4, with a 6.6 Duramax, 5 spd. Alison, and 3:73 gears. My wife and I also have a commuter car which is a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire, 2.4 liter, with fake hood scoops and a 5 spd. That little car sure has snort! I call it my little race car. And my main hobby is wrenching and fabricating. I have Bush beater that I use to get to those remote fishing lakes that my Silverado cannot access. It's a 1981 Jimmy, with a 4" suspension lift, 38" TSL Super Swampers, Custom bumpers and cage by Me, and Beard Super Series Suspension Seats. I also put 3/4 ton running gear 4:10 gears underneath. The body flexes really good because of all the rust. But it's very reliable[;)] Just lately I put a piece of 2 inch square by 1/4" box tubing in my front receiver which I cut and welded in an upright position, about 60 degrees. I first put my winch in the front receiver. My winch is actually on a saddle which goes in my front receiver. So this piece of box tubing went in the receiver of the saddle so now I have a crane to lift up stumps 'n such. Not to rip out stumps though. I'm building a stump puller out of a 45 gallon barrel! Anyways that's it for now I have a technical problem that I would like to post.
