I have been dying to try these on my hot rod. I know you guys are dying to have LED lights on your Tahoe's too. Thought these may work on your Tahoe's.

These are called spider lights and are kinda pricey but very cool. They are standard socket lightbulbs. They compress to fit into a light housing and when you push them through they open up to a large size. I'm too cheap to buy them and see how they work so maybe someone can buy them and give us the review. They are supposed to work real well.

I saw that thread but those are just single bulbs. These LED's give you an LED with a better look and brighter.

Your thread would be applicable to the backup lights, not the license or puddles in my other post.

If the opened dimension fits in there (backup reflector) it would be better than the one's I have tried.  Bulb 7443.

This thread has nothing to do with your thread, why are you guys mixing the two? I opened this thread for others who have been thinking of changing out the rear lights to the LED Escalade lights but wanted a simpler solution..

Ahhh, if you used the words "tail" or "rear" or "Escalade Conversion" in your 1st post, then it wouldn't have caused the confusion.

After reading my last post it sounded kinda snippy. Didn't mean it that way, sorry.

I had those on my Ford, I liked them. It did cause the computer to think the light was burnt out though because of the low current draw, so you might need the load balancer. But I wouldnt buy from the website. You can get them cheaper.
