davtak -> best video games ever? (11/30/2007 7:35:34 PM)

I started this post on blazerforum and it lasted a long time. So, let's hear it. What's your idea for the best video game ever!

I'll start off by throwing some out there:
-Super Smash Brothers-N64
-Double Dragon-NES
-Gran Turismo 4-PS2
-Streets of Rage-Genesis
-Contra Shattered Soldier-PS2
-any mega man game (except Mega Man Legends on N64-that one sucked)
-I am now getting in to Guitar Hero 3 on PS2
-and any ZZelda game (except Zelda 2 on NES)

What is everybody elses favorite video games. We've got to have some gamers on here!

you know my favorites. 007 Goldeneye for the N64. Gran Turismo 4.  I like NFS Most wanted for the PS2 and I love Call of Duty for the PS3. They are a whole different animal in the PS3.

I would have to say my favorite game is Battlefield 1942 for the PC. I have had it scince '04, and still, I'm not bored of it. As for console, probably F1 2001 from EA, and any of the Medal of Honor franchise.
