My door molding and window molding is coming loose.  Looks like the adhesive failed on the door molding and the window molding looks like it's supposed to snap in but the snap features are broke.  Anyone else have this problem?  I'm going to take it in and have them replace all of it.

The problem with the window moldings, so-called "hockey sticks", was common.  I had the same issue on both rear windows, and the dealer replaced them at no charge.  I haven't heard of any problem with the door moldings, though, and haven't had any problem with mine either.

I have the same problem with my moldings and i've only had the truck for 3 mos. Dealer said they would replace them with no problem. I'm trying to get them to give me a deal towards some chrome ones.

Did the design of the Hockey sticks change at all?  Won't they keep coming loose if it's the same?

Seems like Chevrolet had a big cost savings program going when they designed this new model Tahoe.  I noticed many things on this truck that look nicer but are cheaper than the older model Tahoe.  Hope this thing holds up as good as my 01 Tahoe did.  Don't get me wrong I wouldn't switch back.  I love this truck. Except for the non-fold down flat rear seats.

I believe the hockey stick molding was redesigned in early 2006.  Mine (5-06) never exhibited the problem but did have to replace the side moldings twice before they stuck for good.  But since they use a 3M body tape, I think this was a workmanship problem.

Not sure they were redesigned.  One of the moldings on my rear doors has broken again and needs to be replaced. A friend of mine mentioned that he saw some '07 Tahoes on a dealer's lot that had loose hockey sticks.  Agreed -- bad design from the start.

Well, I bought a spool of 3M tape that I used to reattach the Applique that I broke off backing out of the garage with the liftgate open and that is still holding so looks like it won't go to waste.  I'll use some of it to help the hockey sticks stay fixed down.
