I am tryin to install a radio into my 1991 s10 cameo el, BUT whoever installed the last one cut the wiring harness totally out for some reason. They also plug all the wires into the cigaratte lighter (and how they did this i have NO clue) but im re doing all the wiring but dont no what i could use for a remote wire. What could I use for this????

look in your fuse panel and find the fuse labeled 'Radio battery" or "Radio signal" and piggyback your signal wire with that fuse.

yeah, just get a test light and check to see if the fuse comes on when you turn the key back.

The signal wire turns it on and off. The radio fuse is probably for the power supply for the radio.  Are you sure you don't have a fuse for 'Radio battery' or 'radio signal? Check the fuse diagram in your owners manual for any fuse thats related to the radio.
