Me and my fiancee are thinking about trading her 2000 Ford Ranger XLT in...it's in great shape and the guy from the dealership is really good friends with my uncle and he has an 01 impala that he said he would consider trading for. We're trading this in because we have a 7 month old son together and need something that is more suitable for a family and not a truck which only one of us can drive with him and well my 91 buick is aesthetically not that great (Plus living on country roads before living in town messed with the windows so they don't roll down) and my camaro is neither a family car nor ready for the road yet.

but anyways is the impala a nice car to drive and suitable for a family? What are some knocks or problems they've had?
