Day Running Lights or Not on a '96? - 11/19/2007 2:57:08 PM    Rivernut   Posts: 25 Joined: 10/31/2007 Status: offline I have read that 1996 suburbans do and don't have DRL's. If mine does, they don't work. Any definite answer on this? Post #: 1

RE: Day Running Lights or Not on a '96? - 11/20/2007 12:17:24 PM    RonH   Posts: 414 Joined: 1/31/2007 Status: offline Go to the link I gave you.  Download the owners manual.  The owners manual will show the cluster layout.  Also in the manual, check out the fuses and relays locations in the IP fuse box and the under hood fuse box.  The daytime running lights circuit has fuse and relay and maybe more. I already have the glovebox manual. It talks about the DRL's. Anybody know if it is a separate fuse? Which lights are supposed to come on? is it the yellow rectangular ones under the headlights? On my '96 Saturn SL2 the actual headlights come on. (in reply to RonH) Post #: 5

The glove box manual shows it. I wonder if the trucks had them but not the Suburbans as they seem to lag a year behind in other "upgrades" too. (in reply to DAVID L. PAUL) Post #: 7
