whats the diff in the 400 and 350 i have one but not sure which it is came with a suburban i bought as a spare

The difference has to do with horse power, as far as determoning if a tranny is a 350 or 400; there will be an indication stamped into the cast somewhere. It's somethimes indicated on the pan...
