I am looking at a early 2007 Duramax on a used Chevy lot. It is a 2nd owner with 11000 miles. I talked to the so called owner and he said he to top the coolant a few times . I know on a new vehicle that throws a red flag. He didn`t know of anything wrong with the truck. Has anyone experienced this with diesel.

Normally a coolant loss without a visible leak on the Duramax is caused by a faulty EGR cooler, the dealer will know what to do for the repair and it is covered under the new car warranty.
