Hey I'm new to this site, and was wondering if I could get a little help. I have a 1997 chevrolet Tahoe LS and want to get some moderately large beefy tires. My dad has had good luck with the toyo open country's and he steered me towards the a/t 265-75-16. I wajnt to go at least 275, because I think they'd fit. I dont have a lift, but will most likely get a tough country 4". To power them I have a K&N, Gibson headers, and a Gibson dual. Any help would be appreciated.

You can fit 295 85R16 BFG ko T/As .
You can crank the t-bars out to about a 1.5" lift in the front and put 1-2" lift blocks in the back.   They should fit with no scrubbing.

That helps a lot. A torsion bar key will probly be better for the front end, and mayby a 3 or 4 inch u bolt kit for the rear. Thanks and I'll post some pics after I put it all together.

There are no front end torsion bar cams for my truck, so cranking the existing ones will have to do. I just dont know if the added 2" in the front will fit 295's? Should I go with the 285's to be safe, or are you pretty sure they'll fit? thanks.
