I thought I would say hello. New to the forum. Came here to research some problems with our 04 Malibu Maxx. It is a LT and has been a alright car. It has had some front end issues and that is what i'm looking into, see my "me vs gm" post. I have a 04 Silverado, bought at the same time as the Malibu, and I have a '65 Pontiac Catalina which is a original car that has never been apart. I do most of the maintence on our cars myself. I just completed a full brake job on the Malibu and just a word to to the wise use the organic pads and replace the rotors while you are at it. My Silverado has been a good vehicle but the Malibu was not designed to withstand my wife. They should call her in when designing cars, they would probably be better engineered. Anyway, hope to contribute and read good stories.
