i'm working on a special project and saw a picture of what would be an awesome transmission. However, I don't know what model it is.

any info on this is greatly appreciated, thanks....

ok..heres what i know about getrags...getrag is the performance model tranny in older bmws....getrag is the heavy duty tranny in modern dodge rams...i would think that the trans pictured there is a heavy duty of sorts..possibly out of a big truck...but i very easily could be wrong...what i woudl do is call the dealership and give them that number..and they should be able to tell you evertyhing that it came in.

I think it's a 4L60-E, but when i search around for 4L60-E's, it looks
nothing alike. Are there different types of 4L60-E transmissions? Does
a 4L80-E have the same bolt locations?
