I don't remember my factory tires. But I always buy Mickey Thompson tires. I just bought new ones this Saturday, my truck's size is 285/75R16. I got the new model Baja ATZ. Here is the link: http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/truck.php?item=BajaATZRadial I'm very happy with them. I had the Baja MTX before, they lasted me two years.

Sorry for buttin in on your question buddy, but Jamesdal7 do these tires make much road noise?
I'm also lookin for some tires for my '99 Chevy Z-71 i have a small 3" block lift on the back with my torsion bars raised to the max so i dont have to worry about the clearence issue but i want tires with tons of road noise i love that sound :)

Ah, well the torsion bars only do the front and usually when you buy a truck the back wheel well is always higher than the front (when you look at it from the side) if your back was stock and then tightened the torsion bars it'll sit about even, so i would say about 1 - 1 1/2 inches?
