Recently purchased a 2007 crewcab LT1. It came w/o xm radio. i have purchased the GM xm upgrade. Where does it go? What about the digital anntenna it currenly has, can i use if with my xm radio upgrade? Thanks.

I bought the GM kit. You have to replace the Onstar antenna with a new Onstar/XM antenna. The tuner mounts behind the glovebox, and you have to take the stereo out to run a cable to it.

thanks for the response. did you have to rerun another line to the antenna or just chnage out the fin? pretty simple?

What did GM Charge you for the XM upgrade, i was looking at doing this myself.
