Anyone know of GM's plan for the Trailblazer?  It is one of the oldest platforms.  I'm considering the TB as a second vehicle but don't want to pull the trigger on an 08 to find that it will be all new for 09.

Even though the Chevy GMT561Version of the Lambda platform (slated to be named Traverse as said above) is scheduled to go into build the 2nd quarter of 2008, don't believe everything that you read on Wikipedia there MalibuMaxxSS.

The current Trailblazer's fate has not as of yet been sealed, the market has driven down sales of these mid-size body-on-frame (Explorer, Cherokee, etc) SUV's to the tune of 25-30% vs. last year.
GM is waiting to see if any competitors product is pulled from production (which would open sales) before it makes a final decision.

It does fit a nice roll in the lineup but there is just something about that truck that misses the mark.  Even the SS is not that appealing although it is cool.
