wont calm to idle - 10/25/2007 8:55:46 AM    chevy3quarta   Posts: 19 Joined: 7/23/2007 Status: offline i have an 86 chevy 3/4 ton pickup with a 350 v8 5.7 with a 4 barrell carb, i went to start it today and it didnt calm down to idle, it just stays at the high idle like when it warms up but doesnt come down, this is the second time it had happened to me and both times i was on the verge of running out of gas, would that have anything to do with it? would it be a vacuum line?
