RE: How to turn it off... - 10/26/2007 7:14:30 AM    sisterpine   Posts: 3 Joined: 10/23/2007 Status: offline Hmm..if this is the case i will have to return to being stumped!  I live on top of a mountain about 2 hours from the nearest large town.  Ordering the part means they are sending it to me so I dont have to drive to town and get it.  I talked to the dealer in the city and he listed of a few things that could cause the light to turn on at 45K miles.  I checked out those that I could and the only one I found was the dirty air filter.  Dealer said the light is on indicating a problem with the exhaust system and if the air filter is dirty the exhaust system has to work extra hard?  I was hoping it was like my old little blazer and I could press on the petals in a certain order and get the darned light to go off.  Thanks, sis _____________________________ "there are some too gentle to live among wolves."
