well this is my first post and i'm in a bit of a rush for an answer. i don't want to spend the 30 bucks for manual if i don't have too. i'm basically seeing if anyone can hook me up with a step by step for changing out a PS pump. i have a 96 cavi with the 2.2L. my power steering went out the other day and i wasn't to worried about, i just drove without it. today on the way to work, the pully slid out and the belt came loose. if i wasn't a second from pulling into work i would have been stranded. anyway my i got a ride home today and i'm going back tomorrow to fix the car and hopefully drive it home. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Try taking out this book from the library: Haynes Paper Repair Manual 1995-2000 Chevrolet Cavalier or try this site: www.autozone.com If you don't find luck with those 2 resrouces, try calling up chevrolet or your local parts store (Napa, Lordco, etc) and ask them for a diagram or maybe a step by step instruction. Hope this helps
