I am going to replace the Driver Side Mirror on my 2005 Equinox. To do so I need to remove the driver side door panel. Before I start "trying things" I wanted to see if anyone had any advice on the proper way to remove it. Thanks

Well. one I have a strong "do-it yourself" side and I am not sure warranties include having your wife clip the mirror on the way out of the garage door. Any hints on where to start? Do I have to remove the whole door panel or is there a way to just remove the triangle portion on the opposite side of the mirror? Thanks

Im not sure I think youcan just remove the mirror part......if not usually the door panels are clipped behind all the way around about every 4 inches, and usually 3-5 screw under whre the power window panel is...but the Equinox dont have this so, check and see if you can get teh arm rest off...behind that there should be some screws..... Go to a dealer and see if they will print you off instructions on how to do it...we will but some places are dicks.
